Extensive Open Water

Extensive Open Water, also commonly known as Adventure Diver, is a continuing scuba program following the Open Water Diver course by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Moreover, this program helps divers who have completed the Open Water course expand their diving experience. They also learn new skills in real-world environments, such as the ocean. This gives them the opportunity to explore and experience a variety of diving styles.

In addition, the program allows divers to try different types of dives. These include Deep Diving, Night Diving, and Underwater Navigation. Consequently, divers who complete the Adventure Diver course can immediately progress to the Advanced Open Water Diver course with confidence.

The course consists of 5 adventure dives, each focusing on specific skills:

1.Deep Diving: Learn how to plan deep dives and manage the effects of increased pressure.

2.Underwater Navigation: Practice using a compass underwater. Observe natural markers to navigate back to the starting point.

3.Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB): Develop buoyancy control and maintain balance underwater.

4.Night Diving / Wreck Diving / Drift Diving / Search & Recovery: Divers can choose special topics based on their interests.

5.Specialty Dive (Optional): Explore technical or specialty diving skills.

Overall, participants must complete 5 adventure dives. Three dives are mandatory topics, and the remaining two dives can be selected according to personal interest. Then, they can immediately continue to the Advanced Open Water course with confidence.
